Glycerophospholipids (phosphoglycerides) are components of cell membranes. They are composed of a glycerol molecule with two fatty acids attached to the first and second carbon atoms a polar hydrophilic group attached throughout a phoshodiester linkage to the thirds carbon atom.
Each of the subsequent molecules is a glycerophospholipid. Match each structure with the correct name. For simplicity, fatty acid tails are represented by the symboles R1 and R2. Explain there will be one molecule in each bin.
