Recent advances in the field of wireless communication and networking technologies have led to new advancements that can be integrated into human, industrial, medical frameworks and many other areas. The application of wireless network technologies in the field of medicine is playing a vital role in providing active medical care. In recent years, people suffering from chronic diseases have to wait in a long queue and have to be hospitalized for a long time. They have to visit the hospital frequently, which may not be possible in emergency situations. As a result, efforts are taken to avoid the longer hospital stays so that the patients can feel relaxed at home.

a) Design a wireless solution for supporting the above application using Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) technology. Design should include the conceptual WLAN architecture based on IEEE802.11 where a hospital can monitor and receive data from patients living within 3km radius. Explain and justify your answer with an appropriate diagram.

b) Identify and explain a particular security attack that could breach patients' personal data, explain how the attack could take place considering the above scenario.

c) What prevention technique would you adopt in order to mitigate the effect of your choice of attack?
