A large scale polycondensation reaction of a diol and a diacid is performed at 200 C. At various intervals small samples are removed, introduced into tared conical flasks, quenched in a dri ice/acetone, weighed, dissolved and titrated with a standard 0.1 N sodium hydroxide solution. From the results given below determine whether this was a catalysed or non-catalysed reaction Time (min) Sample Weight (g) Titration (cm3 0.1N NaOH) 0 0.3402 46.58 25 0.4501 30.82 50 0.4931 16.88 100 0.6005 10.28 150 1.1014 11.62 200 1.5113 10.35 300 2.1377 8.78 400 4.2978 12.95 500 5.5118 11.92 600 5.9007 11.32 700 6.1387 10.09
