Experiment - Logic Gates, De-Morgan's, Universal NAND/NOR
Objectives - After completing this experiment, you will:
1- Determine the truth table for the AND, NAND, OR NOR, EX-OR & EX-NOR.
2- Verify De-Morgan's theorem.
3- Use only NAND or NOR gates to implement a logic circuit
This experiment will be conducted using Multisim.
Summary: Digital logic systems always deal with two normal conditions which are Logic "1" and Logic "0". Those conditions can be interpreted as yes or no to answers, closed or open switch, an event has occurred or not etc.... Digital systems are basically designed using that premise. Such systems can be simple, moderate, or complex.
