Question

The patient is a 16-year-old sexually active female. She has no significant medical history and is experiencing increased frequency of urination, urgency, and pain during urination for the past three days. She recently had a weekend trip with increased sexual activity and did not constantly urinate after intercourse. She consistently uses a condom with her partner and denies having any vaginal discharge. During the physical examination, she has no fever but experiences tenderness in the lower abdomen and no vaginal lesions, discharge, or odor. She has no medical history or allergies; her last physical exam was 11 months ago. Her last menstrual period was three and a half weeks ago.
