Question

The RN that made a difference in Shameika's life made all the difference in her experience by providing Patient Centered Care. Shameka worked tirelessly through the pandemic, despite being pregnant and had learned the baby had stopped growing at 30 weeks of gestation. The RN was a patient advocate and advocated for physicians to order additional ultrasounds so that she could lay eyes on my unborn child and feel somewhat comforted. She arranged for meet and greet with some of the practitioners in the hospital that Shameika would alternatively be delivering in, due to her current hospital of choice did not have an NICU. She monitored my progress during labor and delivery via telehealth.
