Some positive aspects of our global economy include cost savings, expansion of market opportunities, job opportunities, and economic growth. On the other hand, there are some negative aspects that include increased unemployment rates and tax evasion which weakens the market. Being able to access new or improved markets creates improved skills for workers that in turn innovates organizations. Global workers are internationally employed by multinational companies. There are some resources that the company provides such as resources such as a particular skill-set or talent pools. The ability to work globally provides a cost-effective method that is necessary for the employee to transition smoothly to perform their job role. Some challenges a global worker can face are language barriers, (which can hinder effective communication), compliance issues, taxation, or exploitation. In order for these occurrences not to be a barrier, the employer should effectively plan, research, and prepare the employer on some of the greatest threats they can face in order for the transition to be a success not only for the employer but the employee as well.
