You are a college senior who has been selected to participate in a hybrid internship/onboarding program with an elite HR research and advisory firm. Your training consists of a combination of formal education-specifically, enrollment in this Human Resource Management course-and a rotation in support of the principals of the firm. In your rotations, you will synthesize what you've learned in the relevant modules to address firm or client issues, conducting additional research as necessary and developing draft deliverables as instructed by the principal consultant. The quality of your deliverables-that is, your ability to convert learning into practical insight-will largely determine whether, at the end of the internship period, you are offered a position with the firm or simply thanked for your participation.

Scenario Expanding operations into an international market increases the complexity of HR management, introducing a range of legal and cultural and language issues. How can an organization evaluate and plan to overcome the HR challenges? Your Task In this rotation, you are reporting to the firm's Global HR lead. The team is developing a collateral piece that addresses the challenges and opportunities of doing business internationally. You have been assigned to contribute two points to that deliverable. In additional to reading this module, the lead has asked you to do some research on current international HR practices.

Your task is to prepare answer that identifies Three challenges to doing business internationally and how those challenges might be addressed. For each challenge, cite a Human Resource best practice-that is, an example of a practice that is particularly effective. The best practices you cite can be drawn from the readings or supplemental research.
