He seeks damages for misrepresentations a Hoss salesperson made to him at a Hoss dealership in California, which led to him purchasing a car at the California dealership. c. Adam sues Hoss Motors, a Texas corporation that sells antique cars at its dealerships in Texas and California. Adam sued in New Mexico, for injuries he suffered in New Mexico while driving a 1964 Ford Mustang that Hoss had advertised in New Mexico, sold to Adam, and shipped to him in New Mexico. Adam serves Hoss with a process in the action at the Texas dealership. Hoss had no place of business in New Mexico but sells three to four cars a year there.
