1. Examine the executive branch of your state government, identify two agencies to merge, and then explain your rationale.

a. Consider the two agencies that merged, and then identify the roles you would assign to each executive leader.

b. Determine who would be in charge of the newly merged agency.

c. Identify a new name for the merged agency.

d. Determine if you would eliminate any role or area of responsibility.

e. Assess whether there would be a reduction in the workforce.

2. Create a policy memorandum for presentation to the legislative and judicial branches of your state regarding your intended changes.

3. Recommend a timeline for implementation.
