Assignment:

Purpose of this assignment is to create shareable, visual representations of course principles.

DIRECTIONS:

Create or add pins with examples of body ideals within 5 different cultures, one being the United States.

Group the pins for each culture together by beginning the name or the description (if already named) with the culture's name. For example, one of your groupings must be the United States. So, each pin for the United States culture will say, "United States: " followed by the example name, such as "United States: Body Ideal."

In each culture, you must identify a pin for:

1. Body ideals

2. Standards (achievable)

3. Methods of achieving illusion

4. Supplements that approach appearance of ideal (i.e. high heels make women's legs look longer)

5. Modifications that approach the appearance of ideal.

Use descriptions to help explain your pins.
