Essay Assignment Instructions

For this assignment, you are asked to write a research paper that requires three scholarly sources (secondary sources) and the text you have chosen (primary source), for a total of four sources. The paper will be in MLA format, and needs to be at least four full pages, but should not exceed six pages. Please note that if your Works Cited page does not match your in-text citations, that can be grounds for failing the paper! I have chosen number one as my topics for my research paper:

Politics/History: Research one of the authors we have read this semester ( A good man is hard to find-Flannery O'Connor). Look into their background and try to find either their political beliefs or major events that happened while they were alive. Is the story we read an example of their politics or a reflection of their history? Why and how? How should we understand the story differently because of their politics or history?
