2. Formalized your hypothesis into a testable scientific hypothesis (e.g. Squirrels that reside on the Oval will be less alarmed by human presence than those in a nearby forest because they are regularly exposed to non-threatening human activity.).

3. Provide a prediction for your hypothesis. A prediction is very specific to your experiment and to how you perform your tests (e.g. Squirrels that inhabit the Oval will flee at shorter distances than squirrels that live at Delaware Wildlife Area when approached by a human.)
