The Skolnick article showed how the organization of social life (the job) resulted in particular ways of seeing the world (working personality). In this example what some might see as individual characteristics, personalities, choices, etc. are in reality reflections of social organization. Non criminologists are prone to seeing law breaking as a matter of individual choices, individual characteristics, etc.

Think about the wide array of law breaking behaviors in our society and in a minimum of a fully developed paragraph please propose to the rest of us an example of a patterned law breaking behavior, and common world views associated with those engaging in it, that you think might largely be a reflection of ways that social life is organized for those engaging in those behaviors. You need not limit your thoughts to common forms of "street" crime but are welcome to consider those too. Be sure to respond to the posting of at least one classmate.
