You arrive on scene to assist them with the investigation and recovery of the body. They inform you that they want you to perform a forensic postmortem examination. You briefly examine the dog on scene. It is male, it is an adult, it is approximately 75% burned (right side appears unburnt with white fur and no distinguishing markings observed), and there is an approximately 6 mm in diameter hole in the head. The police mention that a white pit bull type dog recently went missing in the area.
