He was also notably confused about her visit, though the visits had been a weekly occurrence for the past 2 months. After conferring with her family members, Leroy's daughter, Sheila, brings Leroy to the emergency department. The examining physician confirms that Leroy is dehydrated and experiencing confusion and exhaustion upon small amounts of exertion. The physician also notes that Leroy is having difficulty breathing and is wincing when he stands to walk. Upon inquiry, the daughter mentions that the pain when Leroy walks "seems to come and go."
