Assignment: This week we are going to examine the six supplier strategies.

It is important to know and be able to apply these strategies correctly to a business. examine the six supplier strategies and applies each strategy to a specific type of business. Separate it into sections by strategy. Each section should contain a brief description of the strategy, its pros and cons, and how to properly apply it to the type of business you choose.

these are the six strategies

1. Negotiating with many suppliers and playing one supplier against another

2. Developing long-term partnering relationships with a few suppliers

3. Vertical integration

4. Joint ventures

5. Developing keiretsu networks

6. Developing virtual companies that use suppliers on an as-needed basis.
