Choose one of the following writing prompts and write a 5 paragraph essay. That is you should have an introduction, which begins with a topic sentence and ends with the thesis statement for the writing prompt you have chosen. Each body paragraph should, in its topic sentence, point back to your thesis. The topic sentences of your body paragraphs should be the first sentence in your paragraphs, and you should support that topic sentence within that paragraph. Finally, you need a concluding paragraph in which you restate your thesis, summarize your body and then maybe give some sort of advice or observation. 1. The play, Antigone', is filled with references to god(s). In fact, both Antigone' and Creon believe they are doing the work of god(s) in the positions that they have taken. The chorus refers to certain characteristics and actions of God, as do other characters in the play. Write an essay in which you characterize god as he is revealed in this play.

3. Creon is the tragic hero in the play "Antigone." Write an essay in which you characterize Creon.
