You can choose the regime you want to study from a list of all authoritarian regimes since 1945.

Part 2:

Introduce your case study, the research question, and the research plan including the evidence that will be used. You should also discuss a preliminary thesis, that is one or two possible answers/explanations of your research question relying only on the theories discussed in the class.
