6. The suffering endured by crime victims does not end when their attacker leaves the scene of the crime. Consider the potential for revictimization by the criminal justice system and the possible related consequences for society and the victim(s).

7. What role do race and ethnicity have in relation to crime and victimization? Use examples from the text to illustrate the unique circumstances that might apply to visible minorities and new Canadians. How might their experiences differ from to the experiences of other Canadians in similar circumstances? Why might these types of information be difficult for researchers to collect and/or publish?

8. Compare and contrast the lifestyle, deviant place, and routine activities theories of criminal victimization.
