As a practising manager, analyst, or consultant, you will often be asked to prepare and present an analysis of a business situation. Typically, you will be asked to do this in a group. The group case analysis component of this course is designed to give you practice doing this. You will be asked, in groups, to prepare an analysis and update of a case. The case you will be asked to work on is as follows:
- Endy -In 2016, two Toronto entrepreneurs approached The Dragon's Den for funding for a startup company called Endy. They successfully got the financing they were looking for, and the company went on to become one of the most successful companies ever appearing on the Canadian Dragons Den.

In small groups, you should do the following:
1. Provide an introduction to the case study.
2. Provide a case update. Note that the case update must include a summary of a few key events that have occurred with regards to the internal and external environment of the organization (anything of strategic importance since 2016). Issues of strategic importance may include taking note of any mergers or acquisitions and product introductions undertaken by the focal organization. I do expect you to consult the organization's web site (if applicable) and the media (major business press such as the Globe & Mail and National Post) to take note of any recent developments. Discuss the positive and negative impact the changes may have had on the organization. This update will take the form of an analysis.
3. Organizational Structure -describe and define the company's current structure, and provide either a justification for the current structure or a logical argument for another structure that you feel may be more appropriate for the company at this time or in the future.
4. Examine the external environment for this company. Analyze it on the dimensions of simple-complex, and stable-unstable. Describe changes in that organization's competitive landscape and suggest ways that the organization can manage these changes.
5. Provide a conclusion to the case study. In it include your prediction for the future of this company over the next 5 years
