• For this assignment you are to assess and critically examine the different Conflict Management Styles as discussed in the Dual Concerns Theory

• Assess your individual conflict management style using all four of the questionnaires provided(which is done accroding to the above document from course hero)

• Prepare a report that outlines your results by critically assessing the results rather than just reporting them

o Provide a table that outlines the individual results from each of the questionnaires marked "most preferred" to "least preferred" for each of the styles and assessments

o Tell me what is your most preferred style overall, your "back up" style, and your least preferred

  • If there is a discrepancy/inconsistency amongst the results of the questionnaires, you need to assess and rationalize these differences
  • don't forget, you are assessing what you PREFER, NOT what situations may have required you to do.

o Critically look at your results and tell me why you think the results are what they are, what are some interpersonal skills utilized with your preferred and back-up styles and why those are appropriate for you. Why are the skills necessary for your least preferred style those that are least appropriate for you?

o Share one concrete example of a conflict situation when you used your preferred conflict management style

• Ensure that when you are providing your critical assessments of the various styles that you are citing valid academic sources at the college level (minimum 3 different sources).

• Please ensure you attach your completed surveys in an Appendix (formatted to meet APA guidelines).
