Assignment:

This project gives students a taste of research design. Students will design and conduct survey research to examine media use in everyday life. Students will decide what aspects of media usage they want to study, select a sample, format a survey questionnaire, administer the questionnaire to the individuals in their sample, analyze the data collected in the survey and present their findings.

1. Decide what aspects of media usage you want to study.

2. Select a sample from the target population you wish to study (student athletes, seniors, people with a college degree, and so on).

3. Write and format your survey questionnaire. (you will need five questions)

4. Administer the questionnaire to the individuals in your sample.

5. Analyze the data collected in the survey and present your findings
