Part - Improvement Plan and Additional Analysis
In this section, students are required to outline their plan for improving the initial part of the assessment task based on the feedback from their lecturer/tutor. Additionally, students must address the following questions. Although this segment is not graded, its completion is mandatory as it forms the foundation for the final assessment.
Question: Summary of Improvements: Write a summary of how the first part of the assessment task can be improved based on the lecturer/tutor's feedback.
Contract Types: Identify and explain if different contract types (e.g., fixed-price, cost-type, or labour and material) are used for various aspects of the project such as design, construction, construction management, or operation and maintenance.
Project Issues: Discuss any issues (environmental, funding, or political) associated with the project that are hindering its progress.
Cost Overrun and Schedule Delays: Examine any cost overruns or schedule delays for the project, providing specific figures such as the amount of cost overrun in millions and the extent of schedule delays in months or years.
