Question

An evidence-based strategy to improve teaching and student learning involves active, hands-on methods. By creating a safe and realistic setting, students can practice clinical skills related to real-life situations. Supervision and constructive feedback during these practice sessions further enhances their learning experience through satisfaction (Kilgour et al., 2016). To enhance my teaching and promote student learning, the implementation of structured transition programs for nursing students could be utilised. These programs would focus on critical areas, such as clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership. By bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, they empower new nurses and contribute to improved patient safety. Moreover, incorporating simulation-based learning within the transition program can provide nursing students with hands-on experience in a controlled environment. Simulations allow them to practice clinical skills, critical thinking, and teamwork, preparing them for real-world scenarios while minimizing patient risk (Aldosari et al., 2021). Constructively read, review, comment on this approach?
