Everyday forms of situational crime prevention and CPTED ("Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design") surround us. For this discussion, explore a familiar place, documenting and explaining ways that the place is designed to prevent crime. (You could explore a theme park, supermarket, dormitory, gas station... anywhere!) Do you think that the place effective deters crime, or potentially displaces criminal activities - shifting it to other kinds of targets or places?
