I suspect that Jeff Bezos will eventually acquire Best Buy through a merger or acquisition. In the Best Buy case on page 20 exhibit 5, it shows the market share of the top three consumer electronics companies. Best Buy is at the bottom of the pack in term of market share. Best Buy is closing some of their stores (the one in Mall of America, for instance) and forming an alliance with one of its major competitors, Amazon. This seems like troubling times for Best Buy. You describe several things that create synergy between Amazon and Best Buy. Do you think that the alliance between them will be sustainable on a long-term basis or do you see Best Buy merging or being acquired by Amazon?
