What I'm looking for in this discussion assignment is your personal evaluation of effective ads and ineffective ads (and PSAs). In your post, share your brief assessment of any advertisement that you have seen. You can talk about print ads, mailers, commercials, pop-ups, social media ads, radio ads, in?uencer ads, etc.

If the ad is effective in appealing to you, explain why. Speci?cally, identify how the ad is using ethos, logos, pathos, or something else to reach you. Did you make a purchase or take any action as a result of the ad?

If the ad is not effective, explain why it does not appeal to you. What technique is it using, but failed to entice you (ethos, logos, pathos)?

It does not have to be a current ad, nor does it have to be American. It can also be a PSA (Public Service Announcement) that isn't selling a product, but is promoting a cause or issue.

You can include a link to it in your post if it's online, but the most important part of your post is describing how the ad or PSA used ethos, logos, pathos. Remember, an ad can use more than one appeal.
