Activity: Interpreting & evaluating Web based analytics platforms

Your Task
Students will be asked to provide examples of deep learning applications as well as a description and evaluation of these applications. The report is worth 30 marks (see rubric for allocation of these marks).

Assessment Description

There has been a recent advent of web-based analytics tools including applications in deep learning. Analytics professionals are able to run deep learning applications via the browser as the algorithms use hardware platforms accessed via the cloud to provide the required performance.

Assessment Instructions

During class in Week 10 your lecturer will provide guidance on carrying out the below tasks. This class will be dedicated to a addressing your questions and concerns. Please make sure you are familiar with the assessment before coming to class.

1. Choose 2 applications and describe their functionality and why you chose them. Discuss your choice in class with your lecturer and other students.
