Given the department of homeland security requirements, I have laid several intelligence requirements vital to accomplishing the mission. The requirements provided are in line with the department's policies and the Director's minimum requirements. The intelligence requirements that I have laid down for the success of the mission include the individuals and things that are threats in the MENA region, the physical location that the group is most concentrated, the awareness of the homeland department on the likely future attacks, and the possibility of the terrorist group posing any threat in the MENA region.

The requirement stated -above are critical in evaluating the support base that Al-Qaeda has in the MENA region. MENA has a history of hosting various terrorist groups, which in some instances are known or unknown. It is vital that the department identifies the threat in the region on time so that any progress made by the group is met with equal aggression. Al-Qaeda would be collaborating with like-minded organizations in the area, and such calls for identifying these spots so that imminent and planned attacks can be thwarted.

Moreover, it is essential that the al-Qaeda members and leaders in the region can be tracked. Such is critical because it would enable the department to understand their patterns and get an earlier warning of any impending danger. Vital information is required regarding al-Qaeda in the region to allow the department to maintain peace and warn the American allies and assets of possible attacks.
