Case Study
You will write a case study about a current, creative organisation, evaluating the practices and managerial techniques which it uses to assess and encourage the high performance of staff.
Word limit: 2,300 - 2,400 (not including references)
Recommended structure:
• 250-word introduction of what you have looked at, and what you have left out (scope), why (context) and how you have researched (methods)
• 500 words on any frameworks/secondary research that supports your investigations
• 500 words on your own primary research findings presented through the framework
• 500 words on a discussion bringing all this together and making recommendations that are justified by the previous sections
• 250 words conclusion that summarises the key points and leads the reader into what next.... (But no surprises)
That leaves you 300-400 words to distribute how you wish across the sections.
The trick is not to just describe but to analyse by comparing and contrasting and to make a decision based on evaluation of what you have been looking at.
