Assignment: Imagine your administration has informed the entire faculty, staff, and school personnel that each collaborative grade level team will lead one meeting every month with specific topics during the allotted professional development time. You have been assigned the first week of every month for your grade level for the rest of the school year.

Your first topic is collaborating as a team to adapt curriculum to be culturally responsive. Your administration has also charged the team with evaluating current research and professional development on the effective use of existing and emerging technologies for culturally responsive computing. You will have to educate your grade level colleagues on how to plan instruction that allows students to pass through the three stages of information processing.

In 750-1,000 words, address the following topics, cite all resources, and use these as headings to organize your paper.

• Part 1 - Stage 1: Input

• Part 2 - Stage 2: Elaboration

• Part 3 - Stage 3: Application

• Part 4 - Two examples of culturally responsive instructional techniques supported with scholarly articles.

• Part 5 - Three examples of adaptations to the curriculum to be culturally responsive in your subject area.

• Part 6 - Review two current researched professional practices for existing or emerging technologies that support student learning.

• Part 7 - Review of two existing or emerging technologies representing culturally responsive computing.

While APA format is not required for this assignment, solid academic writing is expected and in-text citations and a reference page should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.
