A bullet with an initial velocity of 280 meter per second in the +x-direction penetrates an initially stationary block of mass 11 kilogram and emerges on the other side with a final velocity of 70 meter per second in the +x-direction. The velocity of the block after the collision is 0.2 meter per second, also in the +x-direction. Suppose the block slides on a horizontal frictionless surface.
