Tips for the photographic essay.
1. Do the reading and use the readings to form a well reasoned and supported essay.
2. Follow the rules about the presentation of photos as data in a task. Captioning is very important and a way to include information without using up the limited word count.
3. Make sure the photos are centred in the task and large enough to show the relevant details.
4. Put the caption under the image - never at the side.
5. Don't place all the photos together, rather spread them with your argument.
6. Make sure you allow enough time to upload the task as the photos take longer to upload than a task which is text only.
7. Include your reference list properly formatted using Harvard style.
8. Do the reading and use the readings to form a well reasoned and supported essay. This is both tip 1 and 8 because it is extremely important.
9. Each photo has to be integrated in your answer - you must specifically refer to the image and what they demonstrate .
10. Include the feedback/feed forward sheet - it is worth 10 marks , so take advantage of these possible marks.
