Assessment Requirement:
Leaders impact organizations or nations by their vision, care and compassion, notion of productivity, clarity and focus on their decision making, knowledge and skills, notion of fairness and justice, morale boosting, embodies morals and ethics to name a few.
Based on the above statement, choose a leader and or organization of your choice and
1. Critically analyze leader's role and his/her impact on organizational performance and how they can motivate employees using appropriate theories and concepts.
2. Evaluate the role of leaders and their skills in finding solutions for non-routine problems that affect the organization's operations through hard times and support your arguments with examples.
3. Based on your analysis develop recommendation to leaders and organizations that results in thriving organizations or nations.
Select an organization and evaluate a leader within the organization relevant to his/her leadership style and their impact as a leader. The evaluation needs to be based on the topics discussed in the syllabus. Furthermore, conduct a critical literature review of minimum 6 research articles related to leadership. The assessment intends to assess the ability of the students to articulate key aspects and understanding in applying the leadership concepts related practice. This will test student's rational reasoning, knowledge and analytical skill as well as clarity of concepts and other course learning outcomes. The word count for the report is 2,000 words. Integrate the answers with relevant course materials taught in class for effectiveness.
