1.Methanol reacts with dichromate (Cr2O7)2- to formaldehyde (CH2O) and Cr 3+. Write the balanced reaction under basic conditions. Please show work so I can follow logic.

2. Calculate the molarity of a solution of 25.2mL of methanol combined with enough water to make 622mL of solution (density of methanol is 0.79180g/mL).
