An 830 kilogram race vehicle can drive around an unbanked turn at a max speed of 58 m/s without slipping. The turn has a radius of curvature 160 meter. Air flowing over the car's wing exerts a downward-pointing force (called the down force) of 11 000N on the car.

(a) Determine the coefficient of static friction between track and car's tires?

(b) Evaluate the maximum speed if no down force acted on car?
