Question: You are an external HR consultant who is appointed by a UK MNC to carry out an analysis to understand appropriate approaches to manage the future employees In a new branch located in a non-Anglo-Saxon country (Anglo Saxon countries are UK, Ireland, Canada, US, Australia and New Zealand). You are expected to provide a 2000-word report to critically evaluate the influence of the national culture or/and institutional context on two selected HR fields across UK and the chosen country. You are expected to provide concise and evidence-based recommendations to the CEO of the UK MNC.

Your report will deal with the following issues (as appropriate depending on the countries chosen):

the HR context of the countries concerned (e.g. national Institutions, culture and national labor market);
the consequences for HRM in two of the following fields at least:
1) recruitment and selection.
2) training and management development.
3) employment relations.
4) flexibility and work-life balance.
5) employee performance management.
6) diversity management

Students must identify the key features of the chosen countries and critically evaluate their significance for HR in the international context. Students must make reference to the appropriate academic literature, mainly referring to published 'ournal articles instead of textbooks.
