Find the electronic configuration for ionization energies of Magnesium, the orbital number in which the electrons are added in phosphorus ion, and the one will lose in the ionization of Alluminium.

1. The first and the second ionization energy values for Mg atom are 738 kJ/mol and 1451 kJ/mol.  The third ionization energy is 7,733 kJ/mol.  Explain this huge jump in terms of the electron configuration of magnesium atom.
