Ben & Jerry's Homemade Holdings Inc, also known asBen & Jerry's, is an American company that manufactures ice cream, frozen yogurt, and sorbet. Founded in 1978 in Burlington, Vermont, and was sold to Anglo-Dutch conglomerateUnilever in the year 2000. Today it operates globally as a fully owned subsidiary of Unilever.

Ben & Jerry's pride its success and strategy to two main factors: As an innovative leader in the premium ice cream industry and to provide natural and quality ice cream. They also strive to commit towards social activism and environmental responsibility.

With an ever changing environment and intense competition in the ice cream industry, it is important that Ben & Jerry continues to remain competitive.
