Select a church or ministry setting based on your own faith tradition. You will develop a gospel-centered order of worship that complements the sermon and serves to deepen understanding and strengthen the experience for participants. This order of worship should ensure that the gospel is clearly communicated through multiple modes and contextually appropriate given the church or ministry setting. In your order of worship, the pastor will speak on John 3:1-18 and will focus on the new birth and evangelism.

Although this is a hypothetical situation, your developed order of worship should be able to be used in a real-life congregational setting. In 15-20 slides, present the following: Describe the church demographics for which you are creating this liturgy, including faith tradition, age range of congregants, socioeconomic, and other relevant information.

Give an overview of the gospel-centered order of worship with 10-12 elements and how they complement the sermon while being biblically faithful and contextually appropriate. Include time limits for each element and total running time. Describe how the order of worship clearly and effectively expresses the gospel through multiple modes of communication. Identify specific examples. Evaluate how the development of liturgy and the core elements, consistent in the liturgy of the church, impacted the development of this order of worship. Explain how the relationship between liturgy and formation of each liturgical element develops the various religious affections.
