A 17.5 g sample of C2H6 (Mm = 30.07 g I mol) was maintained in a 12.5 L vessel at 290.6 K. It was allowed to expand adiabatically and reversibly until its volume had reached 98.6 L. The standard molar entropy is 229.6 J /(K.mol). The isobaric molar heat capacity is 52.5 J I (K.mol).

a) Calculate the constant volume molar heat capacity.

b) Calculate the final temperature .

c) Calculate the initial and final pressures.

d) Calculate AU, q, w, AH and AS

e) Calculate the molar entropy at -10.6° C and the initial pressure.

f) Calculate AG.
