Calculate the Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) of 1 g of a soil that releases the following concentrations of ions in the ammonium acetate test (when we used 100 mL of 0.5 M ammonium acetate).

Ca2+ = 30.8 µg/ml

Mg2+ = 8.4 µg/ml
