A major artery has a cross sectional area of 1.07 cm2. Blood flows through this artery at a speed of 0.259 m/s. This artery branches into 14 smaller arteries. Each of the smaller arteries has an average cross sectional area of 0.445 cm2. Evaluate the average speed of blood flowing through the smaller arteries?
