In this assessment, you are required to do the following :
Write an essay that critically discusses and evaluates the extent IHRM literature on expatriates informs our understanding of new categories of expatriate workers ( including self inpatriates, third party/ country nationals - south and east Asian expatriate workers - occupying semi -unskilled positions.
Your task in the essay is to answer the question and subject key concepts to a critical analysis. In doing so, you should use theoretical and conceptual material that you have encountered (or that you have found in your own literature searches) on the course.
YOU SHOULD WRITE AN ESSAY.
1. Critically evaluate the assumptions underlying theories, research and models on IHRM literature of expatriate management in a MNC or a hospitality context.
2. Explore the extent expatriate research enables our understanding of new categories of expatriate workers in emerging economies.
3. Suggest ways to enhance academic understanding of new categories of expatriates workers through IHRM research.
