Assignment Objective
Assignment is an effective method for developing student's conceptual understanding of storage technologies and network configurations & implementation of range of storage solutions to enable business continuity.

Assignment Tasks

1) Task 1 - Submit a work proposal for this assignment on or before 18/11/2020 (23:59) which must include:
• Understanding of deliverables - a detail description of deliverables.
• General overview of proposed plan - initial understanding of solution to task2, 3 & 4.
• Timeline for completion of the given tasks.

The work proposal must be submitted in a word file through the link available in Moodle.

2 Networks are spread all over the world, satisfying the needs of enterprises and companies, by offering facilities of using computers and networks to meet their purposes and functions. Many challenges are faced by these networks, which make it difficult to handle and manage the requirements of any company. During COVID-19 many organizations especially educational institutions are in need of a strong infrastructure and intelligent data storage infrastructure that stretches to meet increased demands, which allows highly available and heterogeneous access to expanding information needs. Taking an example of any educational institution in sultanate create a proposal which must consists of following:

Based on the organization selected for the assignment 1 answer the following in the form of a report.

1. Business model type in use for the enterprise and the lines of business (shared services Information Technology (IT), distributed IT services, outsourced IT functions).
2. Expectations from the new pooled storage or SAN infrastructure.
3. SAN topology and implementation.
4. Provide the snapshots of all the configuration and implementation of SAN storage system.

Task 2: Criticize the merits and demerits of System area and storage area Network. Enumerate the characteristics of each with a justified example.

Dear Mr Answered all questions except task 1 and part 4 from task 2. In task 2 the organization I selected is Horizon private school. If expert need information about it please ask me. please dont use blocked paper because instructor ask for the paper where I got the information. need reference and check similarity.
