For the Assignment, you critically evaluate the academic writing of others. Through such critical evaluation, you can improve not only the quality of your own work but also the overall quality of work in your field of practice. As you complete revisions to your paper this week, you also employ other skills central to the practice of scholarship: receiving feedback, critically reflecting upon it, and incorporating that feedback into your work. To prepare:

Review the feedback you received from your Instructor in Week 3 on the draft of your Evaluating Scholarly Writing paper.

As required, you evaluated the quality of evidence, appropriateness of the content and writing style for the target audience, and the authors potential bias. You then, explained whether the article meets professional standards for scholarly writing and why and how various audiences might perceive the author's intent and message. Recall you were to have selected an article and examine how different audiences could interpret it but you need to use a scholarly voice and APA style in order to comply with academic writing guidelines.
