Sarah was employed as an attorney at a law firm earning $100,000 annually. However, she recently left her position with the firm. While looking for another job, she was working as a cashier at Target earning $15 per hour. She was working 20 hours per week. While on her way to an interview for an attorney position, Sarah was involved in an accident. The driver of the other vehicle was distracted, pulled out of a private drive and struck the rear of Sarah's vehicle. Sarah hit her head in the accident and was knocked unconscious. She was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital where she was admitted. She was diagnosed with a concussion. Since the accident, Sarah's husband has been doing the laundry, cooking their meals, and taking care of most of the household chores, all of which Sarah did before the accident. Sarah's husband has also been helping her get dressed and get in and out of the shower due to balance issues that she has been having since the accident.
