A warm air mass (T = 292) moves across North Carolina until it meets the Smokey Mountains. Then the air mass rises rapidly and adiabatically to 1900 m. Assuming that the atmosphere is composed of a diatomic gas with an average molar mass of 29 grams/mole, calculate pressure and temperature of the air at the new elevation.
