Assignment Purpose: Develop an educational plan Assignment Description As part of the ongoing educational efforts at your facility, the educational team (which you are part of) has decided to host monthly lunch-and-learn sessions.

These lunch-and-learn sessions will be held the first Monday of every month at noon for 30 minutes. There is a room just off of the cafeteria which holds 50 people, which will be used for the lunch-and-learn sessions. Seating will be first come bases. Now the only thing left to determine is a schedule of topics and who to get as a speaker. Your job is to identify a topic and recruit a speaker for the next 12 months.

Topics that must be covered include Information systems, CDI, compliance, PPS changes, and EHR's. Create a list of topics indicating which month the topic will be presented. Write two or three sentences about what you would like to see presented about that topic. Also, indicate who you would ask to present the topic. The speaker can be internal and/or external to the facility. (NOTE: You do not need a speaker's name, just the title or the position that the speaker would hold in the facility).
